Welcome to Christ Church Newland!
Our aim is to bring glory to God by making disciples through:
- finding lost sheep (evangelism);
- feeding the flock (edification); and
- sending out the flock to live under the Lordship of Christ at home, work, leisure or on the mission field (equipping).
We are an Anglican Church in Hull with a lively multi-cultural congregation of all ages. We believe that the bible is the inspired word of God and we seek to live out our lives to His glory.
Christ Church Newland is one of four Churches making up the Christ Church Network. The other Churches are Christ Church Riverside, Christ Church Orchard Park and Christ Church Hessle. Christ Church Newland is led by four Congregational Elders, with Scott McKay as Lead Pastor, and the Network is led by a team of Network Elders from all the churches.
All the Churches in the Network are overseen by the Newland Christian Trust (NCT). The NCT is both a registered Christian charity (1101648) and a Limited Company (04976143). Its objective is to facilitate gospel work and church planting in Hull and beyond.
